We are seeking an experienced and passionate Part Time Instructor to join our team in a fractional, student-support focused role (5-10 hours per week). This role focuses on supporting students as they progress through our existing curriculum—providing guidance, answering questions, and helping troubleshoot technical challenges. Think of it as a Teaching Assistant role for adult learners transitioning into tech careers.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction:
- Teach web development courses to students of varying skill levels.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote student understanding and success.
- Teach digital literacy classes as needed.
Curriculum Maintenance:
- Assist in updating curriculum materials
Student Support:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students throughout their learning journey.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Scheduling and Availability:
- Monday - Friday (8am to 5pm PST)
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year or equivalent hands-on experience in fullstack JavaScript Development.
Skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of front-end and back-end development concepts.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage learners effectively.
Part-Time Position: This is a part-time role.

$28 - $32 per hour
