We are seeking an experienced and passionate Part Time Instructor to join our team in a fractional, student-support focused role (5-10 hours per week). This role focuses on supporting students as they progress through our existing curriculum—providing guidance, answering questions, and helping troubleshoot technical challenges. Think of it as a Teaching Assistant role for adult learners transitioning into tech careers.

Description

Key Responsibilities: 

Instruction: 

  • Teach web development courses to students of varying skill levels. 
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote student understanding and success. 
  • Teach digital literacy classes as needed. 

Curriculum Maintenance: 

  • Assist in updating curriculum materials

Student Support: 

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students throughout their learning journey. 
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. 

Scheduling and Availability: 

  • Monday - Friday (8am to 5pm PST)

Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience. 
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. 

Qualifications: 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 1 year or equivalent hands-on experience in fullstack JavaScript Development

Skills: 

  • Intermediate knowledge of front-end and back-end development concepts.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage learners effectively.

Part-Time Position: This is a part-time role.
