Job Overview:

Creating Coding Careers is seeking a motivated and organized administrative assistant to join our team as a contractor. Depending on future funding and candidate fit, this role could transition to a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. The role will support our company in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of our nonprofit.


Responsibilities:

- Answer and direct phone calls

- Organize and schedule appointments

- Maintain contact lists

- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms

- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

- Develop and maintain a filing system

- Order equipment and office supplies

- Book travel arrangements

- Submit and reconcile expense reports

- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients


Requirements:

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant

- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

- High school diploma or equivalent


Salary Range: $20 to $23 per hour
