About the Role

We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members to support both culinary execution and guest-facing service at off-premise catering events.

This role is a mix of back-of-house support and front-of-house presentation, assisting with food assembly, plating, and, at times, serving as a polished station attendant interacting with guests.

Ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable working both behind the scenes and in front of guests.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with food assembly and plating for passed appetizers and plated meals
  • Work on plating lines during service, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and speed
  • Execute assigned tasks under direction from Event Head Chef or Event Chef
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations throughout the event
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper glove usage standards

Guest-Facing Responsibilities (as needed):

  • Serve as a station attendant, presenting food to guests in a professional and engaging manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing station
  • Interact with guests confidently, answering basic questions about menu items
  • Represent the company with a polished, professional appearance
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including loading/unloading as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • 1 - 3 years of kitchen, catering, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in both BOH and guest-facing roles
  • Strong attention to detail in plating and presentation
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude with guests
  • Ability to take direction and work efficiently as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
  • Valid ServSafe (or comparable) certification required

Preferred

  • Experience with catering events, banquets, or food stations
  • Previous guest interaction or service experience

Why This Role

  • Variety of Work: Kitchen Support + Guest Interaction
  • Great entry point into catering and events
  • Opportunity to grow into event chef roles
