About the Role
We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members to support both culinary execution and guest-facing service at off-premise catering events.
This role is a mix of back-of-house support and front-of-house presentation, assisting with food assembly, plating, and, at times, serving as a polished station attendant interacting with guests.
Ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable working both behind the scenes and in front of guests.
What You'll Do
- Assist with food assembly and plating for passed appetizers and plated meals
- Work on plating lines during service, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and speed
- Execute assigned tasks under direction from Event Head Chef or Event Chef
- Maintain clean, organized workstations throughout the event
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper glove usage standards
Guest-Facing Responsibilities (as needed):
- Serve as a station attendant, presenting food to guests in a professional and engaging manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing station
- Interact with guests confidently, answering basic questions about menu items
- Represent the company with a polished, professional appearance
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including loading/unloading as needed
What We're Looking For:
- 1 - 3 years of kitchen, catering, or hospitality experience preferred
- Comfortable working in both BOH and guest-facing roles
- Strong attention to detail in plating and presentation
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with guests
- Ability to take direction and work efficiently as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
- Valid ServSafe (or comparable) certification required
Preferred
- Experience with catering events, banquets, or food stations
- Previous guest interaction or service experience
