LOCATION


We are proud to offer a flexible, remote-first work environment, with opportunities for in-person collaboration at our Irvine, CA, office. Candidates must align with one of the following options:


  • Reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA.
  • Be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Commit to travel to Irvine, CA, on an as-needed basis.


Strong preference will be given to candidates who meet either of the first two options.


THE ROLE


We are looking for a full-time Accounting & Advisory Senior Crew Member (Senior Associate) to join the Club. This hybrid role, offers the opportunity to:


  • Collaborate with our growing team of accounting and advisory professionals to provide innovative solutions in managed accounting, technical accounting, quality management, risk management, and more.
  • Consult and research technical accounting areas (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, fair value measurement, etc.) and advisory areas (e.g., SOC reporting, SOX 404 compliance, risk advisory, etc.).
  • Provide managed accounting solutions, including supporting clients with financial reporting and process improvements.
  • Deliver assurance services, preparing and reviewing workpapers.
  • Add value with knowledge of business tax considerations and how they integrate into financial reporting and advisory services.
  • Manage day-to-day priorities for multiple companies and CPA firms.
  • Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures.
  • Design and facilitate training on relevant topics.
  • Represent CPAClub at conferences and industry events.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives and business development opportunities.


THE QUALIFICATIONS


We're seeking a high-performing professional who brings:


  • 2–4 years of progressive experience at a Big 4 firm.
  • A combination of audit, assurance, and advisory experience.
  • An active CPA license.
  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting standards, assurance services, SOC reporting, risk advisory, and SOX 404 compliance.
  • Familiarity with managed accounting services and business tax integration is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and interacting with senior-level professionals.
  • A team-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture.
