The Training and Development Specialist (Junior) provides support for the design, development, and delivery of training programs within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Air Force (DAF) environment. This role assists in creating instructional materials, supporting digital learning platforms, and helping ensure training programs are accessible, effective, and aligned with federal workforce development requirements. The specialist works closely with senior instructional designers and program managers to support enterprise-level training initiatives that strengthen workforce capability and mission readiness.
Responsibilities include assisting with the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of web-based and blended learning solutions using DoD- and DAF-authorized training platforms. The role also involves supporting data collection and analysis related to training usage and performance, helping track training completion rates, and contributing to course marketing efforts that increase accessibility and participation in financial management (FM) training programs. The Training and Development Specialist may also assist with preparing instructional content, coordinating training logistics, and supporting updates to training materials and learning management systems.
