The Graphic Media Designer (Junior) supports the development of visual communication products that enhance training, workforce development, and organizational communication initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Air Force (DAF) environment. This role is responsible for designing and producing engaging visual materials that support enterprise-wide training programs, marketing efforts, and internal communications. The Graphic Media Designer collaborates with instructional designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and program stakeholders to translate complex technical or policy-related information into clear, visually compelling graphics for diverse audiences.
Responsibilities include designing and producing a variety of digital and print materials, including training course visuals, infographics, presentations, social media graphics, marketing collateral, and other workforce development materials. The Graphic Media Designer utilizes industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality visual products that align with established brand and style guidelines. The role also involves supporting enterprise-level training and workforce development initiatives by ensuring visual content is accessible, engaging, and consistent with organizational messaging and objectives.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s degree in a related field and have an active Secret Security Clearance.
The position requires a minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience creating visual design products supporting training programs, workforce development initiatives, organizational communications, marketing, or branding efforts.
