Description

  • Multi-Client Payroll Processing: Execute end-to-end payroll for multiple client accounts across varying pay schedules, entities, and states while meeting strict processing deadlines.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure payroll compliance with FLSA, state and local wage-and-hour laws, tax withholdings, garnishments, and classification requirements; escalate risks proactively.
  • Client Coordination & Support: Serve as a day-to-day payroll contact for assigned clients, addressing payroll questions, corrections, off-cycle runs, and issue resolution in a timely, professional manner.
  • Payroll Reconciliations & Reporting: Reconcile payroll registers, tax filings, benefits deductions, and general ledger outputs; support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
  • Platform & Data Management: Maintain accurate employee and payroll data across payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP, Rippling), ensuring proper setup, updates, and system integrity.
  • Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, tax notices, reversals, and retroactive adjustments with minimal client disruption.
  • Process Standardization & Documentation: Follow and contribute to standardized payroll SOPs, controls, and checklists to support scalability and audit readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal HR, Finance, and Compliance teams to align payroll operations with broader client and company requirements.


Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year
