Front Desk Representative – CornerstoneMD

CornerstoneMD is seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Front Desk Representative to join our primary care team. This role is often the first point of contact for our patients and plays an important part in creating an efficient, welcoming patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check patients in and out
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
• Answer and route incoming phone calls and patient messages
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments
• Assist patients with forms, portal access, and general questions
• Maintain accurate information in the electronic medical record (Athenahealth)
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior medical office or healthcare front desk experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic medical records
• Dependable, organized, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
