We are seeking an experienced and certified part-time, on-site Radiology Technician to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in radiology, a passion for high-quality patient care, and the ability to maintain our club’s elevated standards of service. The Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing imaging examinations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety and comfort of clients throughout the diagnostic process for high-end clientele.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imaging & Diagnostics: Perform DEXA scan tests and examinations according to established protocols and physician order; operate DEXA scan imaging equipment proficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Client Care & Safety: Provide clear instructions to clients, ensure comfort, and follow all safety and privacy protocols to deliver a supportive client experience; position patients correctly for imaging procedures to obtain accurate results.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Operation: Calibrate, maintain, and operate radiology equipment effectively, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the Head of Human and Sports Performance.
  • Record Keeping & Documentation: Accurately document imaging results, complete client records, and ensure all documentation adheres to company policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and support team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive client care.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in radiology, implementing protocols to ensure quality and compliance with all relevant guidelines; maintain confidentiality of patient information and exhibit compassionate care during all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Certification:  Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) credentials and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Experience: 1+ years as a Radiology Technician in the field of medical imaging, preferably in a clinical or wellness setting, and ideally in luxury space.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in radiology equipment and PACS technology. Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices.
  • Client-Centered: Excellent interpersonal skills, delivering high-standard service; clear and professional communication.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and documentation accuracy.
  • Independent Contractor: Ability to be on-call with 48 hours' notice for any appointments requested.

Contract Details:

  • Hours: Hours will fluctuate and are generally between the hours of 7:00AM-2:00PM on some weekdays (1-3 days/week) based on client demand.
  • Compensation: $100/hour for appointments booked 48 hours in advance; $125/hour for appointments booked with less than 48 hours' notice
  • 1099 Status: This role operates under a 1099 independent contractor agreement, with the contractor responsible for managing their own taxes and insurance coverage.
