In this role, you’ll take the lead on developing and evaluating generative models of massively multiplexed biophysical experiments for the purpose of inferring key quantities of interest. This will entail understanding how these cutting-edge experiments are performed, identifying key possible sources of noise in the observed data, and determining how best to model these processes so as to make accurate and relevant inferences of biophysical parameters. Other projects will include using Natural Language Processing techniques to identify specific texts from among large corpi.
