Constantiam Biosciences Computational Scientist Remote · Full time

In this role, you'll lead the development of our computational platform to decipher the impact of human genetic variation.

Description

Constantiam is on a mission to accelerate the development of life-saving precision diagnostics and therapeutics by elucidating the consequences of human genetic variation. We specialize in integrating large-scale genomics experiments with human biobank data and probabilistic machine learning. Using these innovative approaches, we decipher genetic variants that cause disease and modulate response to treatment with unprecedented accuracy, informing diagnosis of genetic diseases, risk assessment for cancer and neurodegeneration, response to targeted therapies, and drug development. Founded and lead by scientists with deep research experience and a practical bent, Constantiam maintains a culture of openness and exploration while also staying focused on delivering for our customers.

In this role, you'll lead the development of our computational platform to decipher the impact of human genetic variation. This will entail integrating multiple data types (e.g. experimental and clinical) with statistical approaches and machine learning to infer the consequences of genetic variants in key disease genes. As one of the first few full-time employees, you will interact closely with the founders and have the opportunity to help steer the direction and growth of the company. Our core company values are self-motivation, curiosity, honesty, respect, and practicality.

We believe diverse perspectives fuel innovation and drive success. We're committed to building an inclusive team that reflects the richness of our community.
