Position Overview:


Conscious Capitalism, Inc. is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven, and results-oriented Membership Experience Coordinator to lead the design and execution of our national membership strategy. This role is responsible for driving membership experience - creating a seamless experience for business leaders at every stage of their journey with Conscious Capitalism - and deepening engagement across our community.


The Membership Experience Coordinator will own the full lifecycle of member onboarding, retention, and renewal. They will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Events, and Chapter leaders to deliver high-value member experiences and ensure our growing community is vibrant, aligned, and supported. This role is critical to the long-term sustainability and impact of our movement.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership and Collaboration 

  • Strategy Development: Execute a comprehensive national membership strategy that supports organizational goals around growth, engagement, and revenue.
  • Segmentation & Personalization: Develop tailored offerings and pathways for different member types (e.g., individual, corporate, emerging leader) to ensure relevance and value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:  Partner with Events, Marketing, and Chapters to create integrated campaigns and experiences that drive recruitment and retention.
  • Community Insights: Continuously analyze member feedback, behavior, and trends to inform strategy and optimize the member journey.

2. Member Engagement 

  • Warm Lead Conversion: Own warm lead strategy, including referrals, partnerships, and event-driven outreach. Work closely with Marketing to turn interest into membership.
  • Onboarding & Engagement: Create scalable, automated, and high-touch onboarding experiences that orient new members and spark long-term engagement.
  • Member Experience: Ensure members receive consistent, value-aligned communications and programming. Serve as a trusted point of contact for members at all stages.
  • Retention Strategy: Monitor renewal cycles, develop proactive engagement plans, and manage retention metrics to reduce churn and maximize lifetime value.

3. Chapter Support and Integration

  • Chapter Collaboration: Work with chapter leaders to align local membership efforts with national strategy. Provide tools, support, and messaging to streamline recruitment and engagement at the local level.
  • Shared Goals & Metrics: Support chapters in tracking and improving membership outcomes. Foster a feedback loop between chapters and national to identify needs and opportunities.
  • Consistent Brand Experience: Ensure that members have a cohesive and aligned experience whether engaging through local or national channels.

4. Operations & Reporting

  • Systems & Tools: Manage CRM (Salesforce) and other tools to track pipeline, conversions, engagement, and renewals. Identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Data & Reporting: Build regular reports to track KPIs and share insights with internal teams and leadership.
  • Budgeting: Oversee membership-related expenses and revenue forecasting in collaboration with the finance team.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in membership, community development, or customer lifecycle management—ideally in a nonprofit, association, or mission-driven environment.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, with a passion for serving people.
  • Experience developing systems, processes, and messaging that scale.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools (salesforce), email marketing platforms (active campaign), and data dashboards.
  • Ability to lead with empathy, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally with ease.

Salary

$45 - $48 per hour
