We are seeking motivated and detail-orientedĀ Audit Supervisors to support our government audit services practice. As anĀ Audit Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Supervise financial and/or compliance audits for a variety of government entities
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to provide meaningful recommendations to clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional service


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently
  • Apply innovative methodologies that support an audit
  • Review and evaluate internal controls and supporting documentation
  • Development of solutions for implantation to mitigate deficiencies in internal control activities and supporting documentation
  • Determine compliance with policies and selected regulations
  • Supervise other staff members throughout the course of an audit engagement
  • Review work completed by staff members and provide appropriate feedback


Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting
  • 5+ years of auditing experience
  • Experience managing others in the audit field
  • Proficient skills in MS Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • A pre-employment assessment and background check will be required of any candidates prior to employment with the Firm.


Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA License or CFE Certification
  • Experience working with government or healthcare clients
