Parts & Procurement Manager
Parts & Procurement Manager
Connecticut Motor Cars & Coaches | Plainville, CT
The best Parts Managers don't wait for answers. They find them.
Every day, our team solves problems that many shops won’t touch. Complex RV repairs. Collision work. Paint. Electrical diagnostics. Structural repairs. Slide system upgrades. The kind of work that requires people who care about getting it right.
We're a family business with high standards, big goals, and a team that takes pride in what they do.
We work hard.
We support one another.
And we enjoy building something meaningful together.
That’s why we’re looking for a Parts & Procurement Manager who understands that this role is about much more than ordering parts.
It’s about ownership.
It’s about keeping an entire operation moving.
It’s about being the person who can see around corners, solve problems before they become emergencies, and create confidence for everyone around them.
If you get satisfaction from having the right part in the right place at the right time and figuring out how to find the impossible part when nobody else can, then keep reading.
Who We Are
We’re a family-owned business that believes in doing things the right way.
We work hard.
We care deeply about our customers.
We take pride in our craft.
We challenge each other to improve.
We celebrate wins.
We learn from mistakes.
And we genuinely enjoy building something together.
We’re not a giant corporation.
You’re not a number here.
The work you do matters, the decisions you make matter, and the impact you have is visible every single day.
As one of New England’s premier RV service, collision, paint, and upgrade facilities for over 30 years, we’re continuing to grow, and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us.
What You’ll Own
You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact far beyond the parts room.
You’ll take ownership of the purchasing, inventory, and procurement functions that support every department within our operation.
Some days that means sourcing common service items.
Other days, it means tracking down a hard-to-find component for a motorhome that’s been out of production for years, working through incomplete information, and finding a solution when nobody hands you the answer.
You’ll be responsible for:
This role requires someone equally comfortable solving immediate challenges and building systems that make tomorrow run smoother than today.
The right person doesn’t simply react to problems.
They create solutions, build relationships, improve processes, and become a trusted resource for the entire team.
What Great Looks Like
The best Parts & Procurement Manager isn’t the person who places the most orders.
They’re the person everyone trusts.
Technicians trust that parts will be available when they need them.
Management trusts the numbers.
Vendors trust the relationship.
Customers benefit from smoother repairs and shorter delays.
Problems get solved before they become crises.
Inventory is controlled.
Processes are organized.
The department runs with confidence.
And the entire business performs better because of it.
You Might Be a Great Fit If
You naturally take ownership.
You don’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
You enjoy solving problems.
You like building systems that make things run better.
You notice details that other people miss.
You can manage multiple priorities without losing track of the details.
You care about doing things right.
You have high standards for yourself and the people around you.
You take pride in being the person others can count on.
Experience We Value
We’re open to candidates from:
The industry matters less than your ability to lead, organize, solve problems, and create results.
What We Offer
One Last Thing
We’re not looking for someone who wants a job.
We’re looking for someone who wants ownership.
Someone who takes pride in being the person others can rely on.
Someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and helping a team succeed.
Someone who wants to leave things better than they found them.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
