Caregiver – Job Description

Location: Lima, Ohio

Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required
• Experience may include:

o   Home Health Aide (HHA)

o   Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

o   Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

o   Caring for a family member

Responsibilities

Caregivers provide non‑medical, in‑home support. Duties may include:

• Companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• One‑on‑one client care
• Medication reminders
• Assistance with grooming and personal hygiene
• Support for clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Light housekeeping and home organization
• Meal planning and preparation
• Laundry and linens
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
