Compassion Healthcare Agency is seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide home and community-based skilled nursing services in the Suncoast & Central Region to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Use your clinical expertise to make a lasting impact — one client at a time.
What You'll Do
- Deliver skilled nursing care to APD clients in their homes per physician orders
- Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions
- Perform nursing assessments and document clinical findings
- Provide specialized care: G-tube feedings, trach care, ventilator management, wound care, seizure management
- Develop and update individualized nursing care plans
- Deliver Private Duty Nursing including extended-hour skilled observation
- Provide Skilled Respite care while maintaining nursing-level supervision
- Coordinate care with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team

What You Need
- Active, unrestricted Florida LPN or RN license — required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Must pass Level 2 Background Screening (AHCA)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid FL driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Must be 18+
- Home health, private duty, or IDD experience preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
