Provide direct, one-to-one, ABA services to autistic children, teens, and adults.
Compass is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate team members to work with individuals diagnosed with Autism and other related disorders! Each program and behavior plan is uniquely designed for the child, utilizing different interventions and reinforcement systems. We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, mentorship, and ongoing support as you help shape the quality of life for the children you work with. Compass serves Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Employees are typically placed with clients within 30 minutes of their home. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, however, we require a minimum of 15 hours per week of availability.
Job Description:
Work with children and young adults with Autism and/or other related disorders.
Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy.
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in client’s individualized treatment plan built by BCBA.
Collect, record, and summarize data on all areas targeted for intervention, including communication skills, social skills, daily living skills, and challenging behavior.
Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client’s individualized treatment and protocols.
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA.
Utilize safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients and appropriately report all critical incidents and safety concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition.

Experience working with children or individuals with developmental delays preferred.
High school diploma or GED (college coursework in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field is desired).
Valid driver's license.
Valid proof of auto insurance and/or listed as a covered driver for the vehicle you will be using to commute.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Be proficient in using technology and be capable of using a tablet daily to track data during sessions, communicate with team members, etc.
Not required, but highly desirable: 6 months of ABA experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and/or related developmental disabilities.
Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
