Description

Practice Thoughtful Psychiatry with Clinical Autonomy and Support

At Compass of Hope, we're looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who wants to provide meaningful patient care, exercise sound clinical judgment, and be part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

We believe psychiatric care should be built around comprehensive evaluations, responsible prescribing, and individualized treatment, not simply rushed medication checks.

This is an opportunity to join a practice that values your clinical expertise, offers experienced consultation, and is actively strengthening its psychiatric services.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

  • Competitive compensation: $130,000-$155,000
  • Clinical mentorship: Weekly one-on-one consultation with an experienced DNP/PMHNP clinical consultant, with additional support as needed.
  • Professional development: Opportunities to gain experience with specialized psychiatric treatments, including Spravato®.
  • Administrative support: Assistance with prior authorizations, prescription workflows, patient coordination, and clinic operations.
  • Flexible scheduling: Arrange additional clinical appointments around required clinic coverage.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short term disability, 401(k), paid time off, professional development assistance and more.

You'll provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring medications, collaborating with other clinicians, maintaining timely documentation, and supporting Spravato treatment services after appropriate training.

Required Clinic Coverage

This position includes the following initial Spravato clinic commitments:

  • Monday: 5:00–7:30 PM | Hooksett
  • Tuesday: 4:00–6:00 PM | Hampton
  • Thursday: 4:00–6:00 PM | Hampton
  • Saturday: 8:00–10:30 AM | Hooksett

Additional clinical hours are scheduled separately. These clinic commitments are required at the start of employment.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a confident, clinically rigorous provider who values professional autonomy and clear expectations. Successful team members take ownership of their work, communicate proactively, welcome direct and constructive feedback, and maintain high standards for patient care and documentation. We value providers who can explain their clinical reasoning, collaborate effectively, and adapt as services and workflows develop.

Qualifications

Required:

  • PMHNP-BC certification and active, unrestricted New Hampshire APRN license.
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Competency in psychiatric assessment and medication management for children and adults.
  • Availability for the required clinic schedule.

Preferred:

  • Outpatient psychiatric practice experience.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams.
  • Familiarity with Spravato® or other specialized psychiatric treatments.

Prior Spravato experience is not required; training is provided.
