Community Linx is hiring Direct Care Workers to support people with disabilities in their homes and communities. You’ll help each person follow their individualized support plan, build daily living skills, take part in activities, and stay safe. Experience is preferred, and we welcome dependable applicants who are willing to learn. About the role Direct Care Workers provide respectful, person-centered support based on each person’s needs and support plan. Assignments may be in the Lansing area, including Ingham and Clinton counties, or in Barry County. Schedules and weekly hours vary by client and may include weekdays, evenings, or weekends. What you’ll do * Support people with daily routines and independent living skills. * Assist with approved activities at home and in the community. * Follow each person’s support plan, safety guidance, and established routines. * Communicate respectfully with the person, family, and Community Linx team. * Complete required service notes and other documentation accurately. * Report concerns or changes in the person’s needs to the appropriate supervisor. What we’re looking for * Experience providing direct care or supporting people with disabilities is preferred. * Dependability, patience, and respectful communication. * Ability to follow written instructions and an individualized support plan. * Willingness to complete required orientation and training. * Ability to meet applicable background-check and employment requirements.
