Join Common Roots’ farm team this season and help grow certified organic food that supports local restaurants, our Farmstand, nutrition education programs, and food equity initiatives across the community.
At Common Roots, we are building a thriving local food system and healthy community through organic farming and nutrition education for all ages, where every person has equitable access to nourishing food they enjoy.
Common Roots is seeking a full-time seasonal farm worker beginning in July to join our farm and farmstand teams. This is a hands-on, dynamic position offering experience across nearly every aspect of operating a diversified 14-acre organic vegetable farm.
Our farm grows more than 40 varieties of vegetables that support multiple parts of our mission. Produce is sold through our Farmstand, incorporated into meals prepared in our licensed kitchen, served to local restaurants, and donated to area food shelves as part of our food equity work. Team members help cultivate not only healthy food, but also a stronger and more connected local food system.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, collaborative, and enthusiastic about sustainable agriculture and community-centered food systems. We are looking for someone who contributes positively to a fun, respectful, and mission-driven work environment while being prepared for the physical demands and fast pace of farm work throughout the growing season.
