Project Manager to support agency's creative and media teams

We’re after someone who gets excited about the process of working with clients, bringing creative projects to life and can keep a close eye on lots of moving pieces. You’re operationally-minded, a true problem solver and ready to be part of the backbone of our client/project infrastructure at Common Good – vital to the success of our mission-driven clients.
Responsibilities:
● Manages for day-to-day relationship with assigned clients
● Creates and owns of all timelines, project plans, and client-facing status reports
and meetings
● Coordinates the creative, strategy, media teams and resources required to successfully complete projects (per process, on-time and on-budget)
● Initiates work into Hive, our project management system, and executes integrated cross-functional project plans including development of project agreements/scopes, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, issues and plans resources to meet project goals
● Understands our clients’ businesses as well as ours – constantly evaluating objectives and goals and planning projects accordingly for maximum organization effectiveness
● Advocates for great work and removes roadblocks that are preventing it (and knows when to raise a red flag)
● Manages all external costs associated with projects (freelance coordination and costs, proofreader costs, print costs, etc.), including budgetary reporting and proactive approach to identifying potential issues
● Proactively supports driving project management and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning
● Owns relationships with freelancers and negotiates and secures their partnership in projects
You’ll have:
● 6+ years of project management experience, in an agency environment
● Ability to successfully balance the needs and expectations of clients with flexibility and adaptability – while maintaining creative integrity and working relationships
● Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a quick-paced environment.
● Experience working with clients directly, creative, strategy, and media teams, as well as familiarity with video, print and digital production
● Proficiency with Hive (or experience with similar project management software), Google Suite, and Apple
● A bright, energetic, collaborative, goal-driven personality – you are the engine of our workflow and therefore set the tone for projects.
● Strong and sharp attention to detail across multiple project timelines and many moving parts
● Flexibility and the ability to handle pressure and challenging situations – the project management world is ever-changing, and you must be able to roll with the punches
● Strong communications skills – clear and proactive communication with internal teams and external resources is crucial to the success of the agency
● Vigilance and desire to optimize both agency services and internal resources

Work Environment:
● This is a full-time position, and employees must be available to work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, in Mountain Time. Occasional travel or evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
● This position is considered a hybrid role, and candidates will be expected to commute to our Denver office twice weekly. This position requires that all applicants reside in the Denver area.

Compensation:
