About Comfort Counseling Café

Comfort Counseling Café provides trauma-informed, multicultural counseling for individuals and couples, serving Black communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent adults, men, women, and professionals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. The practice offers a grounded, culturally responsive approach rooted in professional experience, helping clients build coping skills, manage stress, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with their sense of self — through both in-person and telehealth sessions across North Carolina.

Description

Provide individual therapy sessions to students at assigned school site(s), following the school's scheduling and reporting expectations. Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Maintain a virtual caseload of clients through Comfort Counseling Cafe' alongside school-based work. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation for all sessions in the practice's EHR (Session Health). Coordinate with school staff (counselors, administrators) as needed regarding student care, within the bounds of client confidentiality. Attend and actively participate in weekly clinical supervision. Track and report caseload progress toward the full-time conversion milestone. Complete required administrative tasks within the estimated weekly allotment. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting requirements, and all applicable NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board standards.

Salary

$35 - $45 per hour
