Registered Nurse Project Manager – Alaska Mobile Vaccine Clinics


ColoVAX's goal is to provide immunization education and vaccinations to underserved communities.


ColoVAX is seeking a compassionate, independent, and dedicated RN Project Manager to lead our mobile vaccine clinic operations in Alaska. Operating out of our main clinic in Anchorage, this autonomous role manages our state vaccine contract, oversees mobile operations, trains staff, handles state reporting, and leads statewide community outreach and health communication efforts.


Key Responsibilities

 Project Management & Operations: Function independently to manage the State of Alaska mobile vaccine clinic contract, draft monthly state reports, and oversee office operations, supply management, and inventory tracking.

 Clinical Care & Compliance: Administer vaccines to children adhering to Vaccines for Children (VFC) guidelines, maintain EHR documentation, and ensure full regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

 Leadership & Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise part-time clinical and support staff for mobile clinic deployments.

 Outreach & Public Relations: Conduct statewide outreach to partner organizations, coordinate with media outlets, and support health communication initiatives promoting immunization awareness across Alaska.


Requirements

 Active RN license valid in the State of Alaska.

 1+ years of immunization experience (VFC program background preferred).

 Proven ability to work independently in a project management or leadership capacity.

 Strong communication, media relation, and community outreach skills.

 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor/mobile settings.

 Willingness to travel across Alaska (2–4 trips per month, including overnight stays).
