ColoVAX is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN or LPN to join our team in Colorado. This position plays a crucial role in providing vaccinations to children in accordance with the Vaccines for Children program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric vaccines and be committed to promoting public health and safety. This position demands flexibility and dedication, with irregular hours and occasional overnight travel across Colorado. Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN license in the State of Colorado
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work outdoors
• Travel across Colorado, including some overnight travel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team

• Preferred: Knowledge of VFC program guidelines and vaccine administration protocols

Duties:

• Administer vaccines to children according to VFC program guidelines
• Educate parents and caregivers on the importance of vaccinations and proper immunization schedules
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and best practices in vaccine administration
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring high quality patient care

Skills:

• Proficient in the use of electronic health records for vaccines
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
