The successful candidate will be a self starter who needs minimal supervision to lead vaccine clinics.

**Job Overview:**

ColoVAX LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead NP VFC Vaccines for Children Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Colorado. This position plays a crucial role in providing vaccinations to children in accordance with the Vaccines for Children program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric vaccines, and be committed to promoting public health and safety. **Requirements:**

- Current NP license in the State of Colorado

- Lift up to 50 pounds

- Work outdoors

- Travel across Colorado, including some overnight travel

- Leadership experience

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Knowledge of VFC program guidelines and vaccine administration protocols

```Duties```

- Lead mobile vaccine clinics across the State of Colorado

- Administer vaccines to children according to VFC program guidelines

- Educate parents and caregivers on the importance of vaccinations and proper immunization schedules

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and best practices in vaccine administration

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring high quality patient care

- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including nurses and administrative staff

- Collaborate with others to ensure effective communication and patient care

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information

- Proficienct in the use of electronic health records for vaccines
