ColoVAX is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN to join our team in Alaska. This position plays a crucial role in providing vaccinations to children in accordance with the Vaccines for Children program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric vaccines and be committed to promoting public health and safety. This position demands flexibility and dedication, with our main clinic in Anchorage and travel across all of Alaska 2-4 times per month. Requirements:

• RN license valid in the State of Alaska
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work outdoors
• Travel across Alaska, including some overnight travel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team

• Preferred: Knowledge of VFC program guidelines and vaccine administration protocols

Duties:

• Administer vaccines to children according to VFC program guidelines
• Educate parents and caregivers on the importance of vaccinations and proper immunization schedules
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and best practices in vaccine administration
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring high quality patient care

Skills:

• Proficient in the use of electronic health records for vaccines
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
