**Job Overview:**

ColoVAX LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated bilingual Vaccines for Children Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in Denver, CO. This position plays a crucial role in providing vaccinations to children in accordance with the Vaccines for Children program. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, have a strong background in pediatric vaccines, and be committed to promoting public health and safety.


**Responsibilities:**

- Register and screen patients according to VFC program guidelines

- Educate parents and caregivers on the importance of vaccinations and proper immunization schedules

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records


**Requirements:**

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric vaccine care

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of VFC program guidelines and vaccine administration schedules

This role requires experience entering patient care information into electronic health/medical records, passing a background check, speaking fluent Spanish and English, and friendly and respectful behavior.


We operate mobile vaccination clinics. Clinic sites may include schools, shelters for people experiencing homelessness, or migrant shelters. Safe and effective vaccination and testing clinics are essential in controlling the spread of communicable diseases.


Vaccine Clinic administrative team members are responsible primarily for patient check-in, registration, and documentation. Success is measured as a team by ensuring patients are vaccinated safely, ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed, maintaining positive relationships with patients and local government, prompt and accurate data entry, and patient satisfaction with the customer service they received.

Salary

$25 - $35 per hour
