The successful candidate will be a self starter who needs minimal supervision to lead vaccine clinics.

**Job Overview:**

ColoVAX LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Lead RN VFC Vaccines for Children Nurse to join our team in Denver, CO. This position plays a crucial role in providing vaccinations to children in accordance with the Vaccines for Children program. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, have a strong background in pediatric vaccines, and be committed to promoting public health and safety.


- Current RN license in the State of Colorado

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric vaccination care

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Knowledge of VFC program guidelines and vaccine administration protocols

STRONG PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN to all candidates who include their completed You Call the Shots online training certificates with their applications.

- Lead mobile vaccine clinics across the State of Colorado

- Administer vaccines to children according to VFC program guidelines

- Educate parents and caregivers on the importance of vaccinations and proper immunization schedules

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and best practices in vaccine administration

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring high quality patient care

- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including nurses and administrative staff

- Collaborate with others to ensure effective communication and patient care

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information


- Proficienct in the use of electronic health records for vaccines

- Knowledgeable about CDC vaccination schedules and standing orders for routine vaccines (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, flu, COVID, etc)

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to effectively manage a team of healthcare professionals

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
