Colorful Minds ABA is looking for the best and brightest to join our family of Registered Behavior Technicians working closely with our families to build a strong foundation for their children with autism. Whether you are already in the field of ABA service delivery and crave better training and support; are an RBT looking for growth opportunities; or you have worked with children and want to take your career to the next level, joining our team at Colorful Minds ABA will exceed your expectations. Responsibilities of a Behavior Therapist/RBT include:

  • Provides 1:1 therapy to our clients as well as leads or assists in peer play and social groups
  • Help children acquire new skills and working towards individualized goals tailored for improving communication, social interaction, problem solving, and adaptive living skill
  • Works with BCBA’s and provides feedback on child’s progress
  • Teaches children appropriate social behaviors
  • Ensures child’s safety during indoor activities
  • Collect data throughout each session in a timely and efficient manner
  • Be punctual and responsible

Qualification:

  • 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma (relevant college degree and coursework preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background and reference check
  • Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation to and from session locations, clean driving record and valid car insurance
  • Commitment to become certified as an RBT; 40-Hour RBT Training Provided
  • Experience with individuals with ASD and/or developmental disabilities
  • Strong technology skills for data collection and entry
  • Obtain RBT certification within first 6 months of employment
  • Professional written and oral communication
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (at least 6 months of in-home patient care preferred)
  • Desire to work with children

  • Communication skills, both oral and written, that are clear, concise, exhibit leadership, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling changes to accommodate patient and staff needs
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively with a team from wide ranging backgrounds and perspectives.
  • High motivated and energetic during work hours
