Collier Consulting is seeking a Water Resources Engineer with experience in projects such as groundwater engineering, water resources engineering, water treatment, and/or wastewater. Experience or exposure to projects involving wastewater collection evaluation, rehabilitation, and design; and water distribution system design is also beneficial. The appropriately qualified applicant will have a significant role in the design and construction administration of a variety of projects. Work will include planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services and will include activities focused on site-specific design of water/wastewater projects. The selected candidate will also work together with other senior members of our team to seek new business opportunities and may serve in a lead role on various projects, depending on size and complexity. The selected candidate will be expected to effectively engage clients at every step along the project life cycle.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated task management and project organizational skills
  • Must have strong communication skills in coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public
  • Occasional business travel may be required
