We are looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as an Operations Manager for our Woburn, Massachusetts office location. Collier is a rapidly growing geophysics company with new offices being established across the country. We have assembled one of the industry's most respected and experienced teams of geophysicists and geoscientists. We possess a depth of experience in surface, borehole, airborne, and marine geophysics as well as hydrogeology and water resources engineering. Collier focuses on excellence and customer satisfaction with a commitment to our clients, professional integrity, and loyalty to one another.
Description
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in the Geophysics market/industry
- Degree in relevant field (MS preferred)
- Applicable professional qualifications
- Excellent project management, organizational, time management, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated skills in business development
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, results-driven, and independent thinking
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Must have strong communication skills in coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Principal Geophysicist in Woburn
- Mentoring, training, and motivating team members
- Coordinating with peers across various Collier locations
- Scheduling of teams and equipment
- Project management
- Monitoring/managing profitability
- Sales, business development, and proposal writing
- Managing client relationships
