Enterprise Account Executive - EMEA


Cogniac has significant traction for our Visual AI platform with companies in EMEA. Our software leverages the latest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to make computer vision easier, faster and more accurate. Our customers include well-known auto makers, rail companies, and government agencies.

We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Account Executive to join our team to join the EMEA region sales team. We will be expanding the sales team in EMEA over the next 12-18 months. Cogniac has significant traction worldwide in the Rail, Utilities (including nuclear), Logistics, Automotive, and Manufacturing verticals, among others. This role will be focused on winning new accounts, primarily in those verticals. As part of the EMEA team, Cogniac has technical resources, but this role will also work with technical partners who build Visual AI and Machine Vision solutions for the end customer. The successful candidate will leverage their experience in sales and account management as a solution seller to identify potential clients, build strong relationships and win new accounts selling our AI-based software platform. You must be a self-starter and will have autonomy to drive the strategy within your respective territory. This is a high-visibility role with tremendous earning potential for the right candidate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This is an outbound direct sales role, tasked with identifying enterprise end customers who can deploy Cogniac’ s Visual AI platform
  • Demonstrate and evangelize our product and highlight how Cogniac addresses specific use cases across multiple verticals;
  • Collaborate with Cogniac teams, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and System Integrator Partners to build pipeline and close both Cogniac supported and joint business;
  • Manage and update sales forecast in Salesforce.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth goals for the enterprise segment of the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the enterprise segment of the business, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of new accounts and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and customer information
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position the company’s solutions.

What you need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5+ years in complex\high value enterprise sales closing role with a consistent track record of quota overachievement
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience direct selling an enterprise class software\service
  • The role will fit best with someone who is highly motivated, driven, passionate and a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit, excited by taking on new challenges
  • It requires an energetic and passionate sales professional who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
  • Travel ~50% or more

Preferred Experience (Optional)

  • AI, IOT, Machine Vision experience preferred but not required
  • Domain exposure in a targeted industrial vertical
  • This is a technical sale, and familiarity with Visual AI solutions and use cases is preferred
  • Because the role covers all EMEA, language requirements are flexible, but fluent written and spoken English is required, and fluency in at least one other language is a plus
