Cogito Innovations is seeking a qualified Engineering Technician (Avionics Platform Technician I- II) to join our Aviation Solutions team. This position supports aircraft system design, development, fabrication, installation, and integration efforts in a full-scale production and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working from technical documentation including schematics, wire prints, and layout diagrams.

  • Perform electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical fabrication and integration
  • Conduct quality assurance and reliability testing
  • Follow established production procedures and scheduling requirements
  • Coordinate and expedite material flow within warehouse and production environments

Required Education & Experience:

  • ·High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Cable Fabrication Certification
  • Fiber Optics Certification

Required Certifications (Must Obtain/Complete)

  • Forklift Certification
  • Solder Certification
  • Connector and Back Shell Termination Compliance
  • Understanding of 505 Aircraft Integration Manual guidance
  • Fall Protection Training
  • Hazmat Training
  • Tool Control Process compliance


 Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance


Must be a U.S. Citizen
