Position: Part-Time Restaurant Team Member with MAST Permit

Location: Coconut Kenny's & Taproom - Lake Stevens, WA (Soper Hill)

Starting Date: Immediately

Compensation: Hourly pay + tips.

What You'll Do

As a Restaurant Team Member at Coconut Kenny's, you're part of the full team — not just the taproom. Your duties will rotate across all areas of the restaurant and include:

Taproom

• Monitor and assist guests at our self-serve beer wall
• Card guests and verify age (21+) per WA state law
• Engage with customers about our beer, wine, and cider selections

Front of House

• Deliver exceptional customer service at the counter and dining area
• Bus and clean tables, chairs, and dining surfaces
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Back of House

• Support food prep – making pizzas and sandwiches
• Dish pit duties — washing, sanitizing, and organizing kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace

Facility & General

• Clean and maintain restrooms throughout your shift
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Pitch in wherever the team needs you — we all wear multiple hats

What We're Looking For

✅ Active MAST permit — Class 12 preferred, Class 13 considered

✅ Must be 21 or older, or turning 21 within 90 days (Washington State law requires team members in this role to be at least 21 to serve alcohol)

✅ Available to work Sundays (this is a firm requirement — please do not apply if you cannot work Sundays)

✅ Comfortable talking with guests about beer, wine, and cider

✅ Positive attitude and team-first mindset

✅ Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

✅ Reliable — we count on our team to show up

Hospitality or food service experience is a plus, not a requirement. We train the right people.
