CoatingsHQ is a growing professional coatings supplier based in Midland, Texas. We provide contractors and customers with decorative concrete coatings, epoxy systems, polyaspartics, flake and metallic systems, surface-preparation products, tooling, equipment rentals, training, and technical product support.

We are looking for a motivated Sales & Business Development Representative to help us continue building our contractor customer base throughout Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding West Texas market.

This is not a position for someone who wants to simply sit behind a counter and wait for customers. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, developing relationships, prospecting for new business, creating content, and turning opportunities into long-term customers.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new contractor and commercial customer accounts
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers
• Prospect for new business through phone calls, social media, direct outreach, business visits, and jobsites
• Visit contractors and prospective customers throughout the local market
• Assist customers with product selection, estimating, and complete coating-system recommendations
• Prepare quotes and consistently follow up on open opportunities
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and document customer activity in our CRM
• Identify upcoming contractor projects and material requirements
• Promote CoatingsHQ contractor training programs and events
• Help convert new installers and tradespeople into recurring coatings customers
• Learn our epoxy, polyaspartic, flake, metallic, sealer, surface-preparation, tooling, and equipment product lines
• Support customers with equipment rentals and related products
• Assist customers in-store and provide a high level of service
• Develop relationships with contractors currently purchasing from competing suppliers
• Help identify new products, customer needs, and opportunities within the West Texas market

Social Media & Digital Sales

Social media is an important part of this position. The successful candidate must be comfortable appearing on camera, creating content, and using social platforms to develop business.

Responsibilities include:

• Create short-form videos/Reels featuring products, projects, training, educational content, and store activity
• Create photo posts, Stories, and educational carousel content
• Post content through both a company-owned representative profile and CoatingsHQ social accounts
• Engage with contractors and potential customers online
• Prospect for new contractor relationships through targeted direct messages
• Respond to social-media inquiries and convert qualified conversations into CRM leads
• Use social media to generate store visits, training registrations, quotes, and sales

You do not need to be a professional content creator, but you must be willing to consistently appear on camera and become a recognizable representative of CoatingsHQ.

Direct coatings experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide extensive product and industry training to the right candidate with strong sales ability, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Compensation

• Base salary: $50,000–$75,000 per year, depending on relevant experience
• Plus performance-based sales commission
• Significant earning potential for a strong producer

Performance Expectations

This is a results-driven sales position. The representative will be accountable for measurable performance including:

• Sales revenue
• New accounts developed
• Contractor prospecting activity
• Customer follow-up
• Sales pipeline development
• Outside-sales activity
• CRM compliance
• Social-media outreach and lead generation
• Training registrations and customer development

After the initial training and ramp-up period, the position carries a minimum monthly sales target of $50,000, with the expectation that a successful representative will continue developing beyond that level.
