COARE Communities is looking for a Community Manager who will assist with the management of ~130-site mobile home community located in Eerie, PA.

Hours: 40+- hours a week

On-Site: Manager will be required to be on-site during specific hours.

Compensation: $30-40K annual compensation based on experience.

Language: Bi-lingual English / Spanish is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely collection of rent from residents and follow-up on delinquent balances.
  • Work with Sales Manager to lease-up vacant homes as they become available.
  • Coordinates tenant move-ins, move-outs, and at times, renewals of residents.
  • Enforce terms of rental agreements, resolve tenant complaints, and if needed, oversee eviction proceedings.
  • Communicate and build strong relationships with tenants (re: repairs, status of capital improvements, tenant concerns).
  • Provides timely, attentive, upbeat service to residents, making sure their needs are met or explained in a manner that reflects positively on the company or business.
  • Regularly inspect property to ensure it is in good working order; common areas are clean and well maintained, and the area meets requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors to assess problems and make needed repairs
  • Attend Company meetings and/or connect with other employees to share best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Bilingual Spanish / English preferred.
  • Prior experience in Property Management is a significant plus.
  • Handyman or Handywoman experience is a significant plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills.
  • High level of organization and follow up.
  • Ability to handle large volume of emails and phone calls.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict.
  • Competence with and/or desire to learn and use systems/tools (Rent Manager, Excel).
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Availability and Work Hours:

  • Must be available to handle requests as needed
  • Ability to access emails on weekends and be available to resolve issues as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Requires the ability to move within different areas of properties, stand, sit, walk up/down stairs for periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $30-40K Annually based on experience
