Role Overview

We're seeking a driven Cloud Optimization Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers interested in our innovative cloud cost optimization solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for our sales team.


Location

This is a fully remote position. Candidates from any location are welcome to apply. Compensation will be adjusted based on your geographic location.


Working Hours

You must be available during US Eastern Time zone business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET), regardless of your location.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate qualified leads
  • Research and identify potential clients with high AWS/cloud computing expenses
  • Engage with inbound leads promptly and professionally
  • Qualify prospects based on our ideal customer profile and sales criteria
  • Independently set up and conduct initial meetings with prospects
  • Coordinate follow-up meetings that include the Product team
  • Demo Cloudidr products to prospects
  • Market both Flex Compute solutions and FinOps Professional Services
  • Track all activities and maintain accurate records in our CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly quota of qualified meetings set
  • Stay current on cloud computing trends, competitors, and industry developments
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions


Required Qualifications

  • Preferable 3 years of experience in Cloud cost optimization or B2B SaaS sales
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong understanding of the cloud computing industry (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
  • Positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required


Technical Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and cost models
  • Familiarity with AWS terminology and services
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization challenges
