Job Title: Commission-Based Government RFQ Sales Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Government RFQ Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing government contracts through the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process. This is a commission-based position with significant earning potential for successful sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research government RFQ opportunities that align with the company's products and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government agencies and procurement officers.
  • Prepare and submit detailed and competitive RFQ responses in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with RFQ requirements.
  • Track and manage the RFQ process from initial identification to contract award.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with government agencies.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and commission goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and government procurement regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in government sales, RFQ processes, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple RFQ opportunities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
