Position Summary

The Front Desk / Concierge Liaison serves as the first impression of MyMD Select and plays a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience. This individual will warmly welcome patients, coordinate patient flow, assist with rooming patients, answer incoming calls, provide tours for prospective members, and support administrative and clinical operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing outstanding customer service, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where every day is different.

Essential Responsibilities

Patient Experience

  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
  • Check patients in and out for appointments.
  • Escort and room patients when needed.
  • Ensure patients feel welcomed, valued, and informed throughout their visit.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.

Phone & Communication Management

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments and answering general questions.
  • Route calls and messages appropriately.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and assist with follow-up communication.

Membership & New Patient Support

  • Provide tours of the clinic to prospective patients.
  • Explain membership benefits and services.
  • Follow up with prospective patient leads and inquiries.
  • Assist with onboarding new patients into the practice.

Administrative Support

  • Verify and update patient demographic information.
  • Assist with patient paperwork and forms.
  • Support scheduling, scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.

Team Support

  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the team and patient experience.
  • Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused work environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and common office software.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred

  • Previous medical office, front desk, hospitality, concierge, or customer service experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Experience handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Sales, membership, or relationship-building experience.
