Writes progress notes to keep other clinical personnel informed of patient behavior
Ensures accuracy, security, and availability of information
Observes each patient’s behavioral conditions throughout the testing processes
Provides observation summaries for each patient
Provides one on one assistance with patients
Performs inventory checks on forms and tools needed prior to conducting tests
Provide administrative assistance when necessary
General Responsibility
Participates in monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of client care.
Provides appropriate therapeutic services to assist clients and families in coping with presenting symptoms and problems.
Participates in the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Prepares reports and other documents concerning clients.
Complies with company and department policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, infection control and complies with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
Attends and participates in staff development programs, department related conferences and administrative meetings.
Establishes and maintains an appropriate network of professional contacts.
Maintains currency with professional organizations and publications.
Attends and participates in meetings, conferences, etc.
Represents the company and/or unit as assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Licensure Requirements: Candidate must have at minimum 6 months experience in the mental health or medical field. If the candidate has obtained any mental health or medical certifications the candidate must be in good standing with the certifying board or committee. The certification must also be current.
