Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plan based on pre-defined deliverables
- Motivate and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and address conflicts or issues promptly
- Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Execute the project plan, ensuring the tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress and performance against established baselines
- Implement changes or adjustments when necessary to meet project goals
- Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and met
- Regularly report project status, milestones, and issues to stakeholders
- Managed expectations and provide timely updates to all relevant parties
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business or IT discipline
- Knowledge of the Agile software development process
- At least five years of Information Technology Project Management experience leading multi-functional teams (agile software development, system development, PMO)
- Certifications: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile/Scrum certifications, ITIL
- Knowledge of technical and policy analysis, SharePoint customization, document writing, metrics development and reporting, and business process modeling
- Ability to provide support in the following areas: administrative, research, process facilitation, management assistance, and governance processes
- Experience with the Federal Government strongly preferred
- Ability to create executive presentations, perform technical assessments of tools and products, create or reengineer business processes, business rules, and workflows, and develop training for the authoring research roles
- Ability to draft standard operating procedures (SOP), project charters, develop project plans, and resource plans
- Ability to create professional quality deliverables (reports, presentations, management plans, etc.)
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Remote work is possible

- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Occasional travel and overtime may be required

- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
