Client First Technologies (CFT), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) provider of IT Services Software Development, IT Infrastructure, and Data Analytics within Federal environments supporting VA and DOD customers, is looking for a talented Data Warehouse Engineer to join our growing team. The Data Warehouse Engineer will utilize their expertise to develop data models, create business reports and develop ETL solutions.

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform data warehouse tasks using AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, Oracle RDS, and S3, leveraging relational database, data warehouse, and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) practices
  • Develop solutions using Spark, PySpark, and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Develop ETL solutions in support of data warehouse systems
  • Apply ETL tools such as ODI, Informatica, DataStage, and SSIS

 

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Expert knowledge working with Oracle databases is required
  • Expert knowledge of SQL is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in at least one major industry leading ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, ODI, SSIS, Talend, and/or DataStage)
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., Redshift, Glue)
  • Experience with Apache Spark
  • Experience working in a Linux environment and with AWS is preferred
  • Java experience is preferred


Required Clearances

  • The ability to pass a Department of Veterans Affairs Background Investigation (BI)
