Our Lead Product Developer at Cleobella is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a product, from concept to production, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.

Our Lead Product Developer will require close collaboration with the design, merchandising, and production teams to manage timelines, budgets, and quality control for each season’s product lines. The Product Developer also maintains the seasonal tracker for different product categories, coordinates with suppliers to optimize raw material use, and facilitates the approval process for all components such as samples, fabric, and trims.

Additionally, the Product Developer manages product costing, vendor relationships, and ensures that all data related to the product is accurately entered into the ERP system. They work on sourcing new vendors and materials, and are key in developing packaging and labeling that align with the brand’s ethical standards. The role also includes problem-solving issues during fittings, tracking sample orders, and identifying opportunities for process improvements in the product development cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Understands the product development process from concept to production with in-depth knowledge of garment components and construction. And a keen attention to detail.
  • Can manage multiple calendars, seasons and projects
  • Prior experience working in India is a plus
  • Experience in and a passion for sustainability is a plus
  • Strong ability to problem solve, and communicate 
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, Adobe illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • This role is in Huntington Beach, where you'll primarily work in the office

Salary
