What You’ll Be Doing:
Design Support
- Create stunning outdoor designs using VisTerra, Structure Studios, AutoCAD, Procreate, Dynascapes, and other industry-standard design software that captures and exceeds client expectations.
- Join client consultations to gather ideas, offer creative input, and develop design proposals.
- Present sketches and digital mockups to help clients visualize their dream landscape.
- Our client make up is primarily residential but is stretching into the commercial sector.
Sales Assistance
- Partner with our lead sales & designer to develop compelling proposals and close deals with new and existing clients.
- Manage inbound leads while also meeting regularly with suppliers, vendors, architects, pool builders to develop additional relationships driving new opportunities. (Added bonus for self driven leads)
- Conduct site visits, assist in estimating costs, and provide clients with project timelines.
- Handle contracts, follow up on leads, and ensure smooth communication throughout the sales process.

Make the sale and close the sale—taking ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial consultation to final agreement.
- Use construction take-offs and estimating software to ensure accurate project pricing.
Client Communication
- Serve as the go-to contact for clients during the design and execution phases, making sure their needs are met promptly.
- Keep clients updated on project milestones, revisions, and progress.
- Be a positive, approachable presence that fosters trust and satisfaction with every interaction.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with our installation teams to make sure designs are executed flawlessly.
- Track the progress of sold projects, ensuring profitability and managing any necessary adjustments.
- Working closely with our production team to verify our estimated vs. actuals and assuring that we are in line and meeting our goals.
Technology & Tools

CRM and Estimating Software: Utilize LMN (Landscape Management Network) and Google Workspace to manage client relationships, project estimates, and workflow efficiently.
What We Offer:

Competitive Pay: $43,000 - $49,000 base salary, plus 4-6% commission on completed revenue of profitable projects.

This is a commission heavy role with a base to simply hold you over while you adapt and train to the winning CLC way. This role is for self motivators and competitive individuals!

What You Bring:

Education: A completed bachelor’s degree (required).

Experience: Preferred 3-5 years experience in horticulture, construction design, landscape design, or sales.
- Proficiency in VisTerra, Structure Studios, AutoCAD, Procreate, Dynascapes (required).
- Familiarity with construction take-offs and industry leading estimating software.
- Experience using CRM software, LMN, and Google Workspace.
- Strong sales skills with a proven ability to bring new ideas and opportunities to the client and to make and close sales.
- Prior experience (3-5 years) in the landscaping industry (required).
- Excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire clients.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards.
- A welcoming, professional attitude that puts clients at ease.
- Horticultural Degree or Minor (preferred)
- Interior design or landscape design degree (preferred)
- 3-5 years of Sales and Customer Service experience (preferred)
