Monday–Friday, standard office hours (8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern)
REPORTS TO
Scholé Academy Director; collaborates with other team members within CAP as needed
1. Job Summary
The Scholé Academy Coordinator provides broad administrative, technical, and community support to the Scholé Academy Director for the 2026–27 academic year. Responsibilities span instructor and tutor onboarding and technical setup, day-to-day community communications, and general operational support for the business unit as needs arise.
2. Essential Responsibilities
- Instructor Onboarding & Technical Setup: Assist in onboarding and offboarding instructors and tutors, with particular focus on technical setup; manage LMS account setup and course shell creation; facilitate proprietary access and platform authorizations as needed.
- Instructor Support & Community Connection: Facilitate connections between instructors and department chairs/mentors and among fellow instructors; facilitate the check-in process and feedback; help recognize opportunities and drive improvements in the delivery of educational services.
- Website & Operational Support: Fulfill basic website update requests and provide general operational support for the business unit as needs arise.
- Community Development & Events: Coordinate and advertise special events, clubs, and special initiatives; initiate video requests and promotions.
- Communications: Coordinate blog posts, newsletters, and other House communications, along with other community communications as needed.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Administrative experience, with the ability to manage processes effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency and/or quickstart ability with several applications and platforms, including Canvas, Airtable, Zoom, Vimeo, HubSpot, and Canva, among others.
- Mission Alignment: A love of the mission of CAP, experiential knowledge of classical education, and a collaborative spirit.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and group communication skills, reporting skills, and administrative writing skills; organization, professionalism, and problem-solving capacity.
4. Physical Demands & Travel
- Travel: Some travel required, including participation in All-Company Gatherings and representing CAP/Scholé Academy at conferences as assigned.
- Office Presence: Remote.
