**Job Title: Work From Home PROOFREADER - REMOTE (Part-Time & Full-Time)**
**Job Overview:**
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring accuracy and clarity in written content? Clarksville School District is seeking a remote Proofreader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and correcting written materials to ensure they are free of errors and adhere to our organization's standards. This position offers the flexibility to work from home on either a part-time or full-time basis.
**Responsibilities:**
- Review and proofread a variety of written materials, including reports, newsletters, emails, and other documents
- Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and terminology
- Collaborate with writers and editors to make necessary revisions
- Meet deadlines and maintain high quality standards for all proofreading tasks
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a proofreader or editor
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High-speed internet connection and access to necessary technology for remote work
**Salary Range: $25 to $50 per hour**
