Clair Health, Inc. Product Manager Menlo Park, CA · Full time Company website

We are a small team, and we need a PM who ships. You will own the Clair app: device pairing, daily hormone insights, notifications and new features. There is no product org, no PRD template and no backlog groomer. There is a team of engineers, a designer, an ML team and a lot of work to get into members' hands. This role is for someone who would rather ship something good this week than something perfect next quarter. You will write the spec in the morning, QA the build in the afternoon and call three users that evening. If a ticket is unclear, you clarify it. If the support inbox is backed up, you answer emails. If a launch is slipping, you figure out why and unblock it.

Description

About Clair

Clair Health is building the first wearable for hormone-aware health. Clair is a wrist-worn band and app that tracks reproductive hormones noninvasively, alongside sleep, recovery, heart rate, HRV and activity. Our models are trained against hormone measurements, so women can see their cycle as it actually unfolds instead of as a calendar guess. Founding Member reservations are open and devices ship in January 2027. We're a small team in Menlo Park, backed by Khosla Ventures and a16z speedrun.

What you'll do

  • Own the app roadmap and decide what ships next. Keep the list short and move it fast.
  • Write specs that are just detailed enough for engineering and design to build from, then stay close to the work until it ships.
  • Run sprints, triage bugs and keep the team unblocked day to day.
  • QA builds yourself on iOS and Android before every release, and run TestFlight and beta programs.
  • Talk to users every week, including beta members and clinical study participants. Sit in on support tickets and fix the root causes.
  • Work with the ML team to get hormone insights into the app quickly, then iterate based on how members respond.
  • Set up the analytics you need, look at the numbers yourself and run experiments on activation, engagement and retention.
  • Coordinate with clinical, regulatory and privacy leads so what we ship is accurate without slowing the team more than necessary.
  • Do whatever else gets the product out the door, including writing app store copy, mocking up a flow in Figma or pulling data with SQL.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of product management experience, with consumer mobile apps you shipped and can point to.
  • A bias for action. You make decisions with incomplete information and adjust when you learn more.
  • Startup experience, ideally at a seed or Series A company, or as a founder.
  • Comfort doing the unglamorous work: QA, support tickets, release notes, data pulls.
  • Enough technical depth to work directly with engineers on scope and tradeoffs, and to read logs or query data yourself.
  • Clear, short writing.
  • Ownership. When something breaks, you fix it first and figure out whose job it was later.
  • A real interest in women's health.

Nice to have

  • Experience with wearables, connected devices or apps built on sensor data.
  • Experience in digital health, including HIPAA, FDA software guidance or telehealth.
  • Hands-on design, SQL or coding skills.
  • Background in fertility, menstrual health, menopause or other women's health products.

This role is probably not for you if

  • You want a mature product org with established processes and a large team to delegate to.
  • You prefer setting strategy to getting into the details of execution.
  • You need a fully defined scope before you start.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity.
  • Ownership of the app as our first PM, with room to build and lead a product team as we grow.
  • Health, dental and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
