Clair Health, Inc. Growth Lead Menlo Park, CA · Full time Company website

We are hiring a generalist Growth Lead to build the system that acquires and keeps Clair members. You will own every growth channel, from organic and paid social to influencers, referrals and lifecycle email, and treat them as parts of one machine rather than separate programs. The goal is simple to state: low CAC, high ROAS and strong retention as we scale. This may be a public facing role. You will spend your time in dashboards, attribution models, ad accounts, Klaviyo flows, and events, figuring out which levers move the numbers and building the processes that let us pull them repeatedly.

Description

About Clair

Clair Health is building the first wearable for hormone-aware health. Clair is a wrist-worn band and app that tracks reproductive hormones noninvasively, alongside sleep, recovery, heart rate, HRV and activity. Our models are trained against hormone measurements, so women can see their cycle as it actually unfolds instead of as a calendar guess. Founding Member reservations are open and devices ship in January 2027. We're a small team in Menlo Park, backed by Khosla Ventures and a16z speedrun.

What you'll do

Growth strategy and systems

  • Build and own the growth model, from first touch through purchase, activation and repeat or subscription revenue.
  • Decide how budget and effort are split across channels based on CAC, ROAS, payback period and LTV.
  • Set up attribution, tracking and reporting so the team can see what is working weekly, including incrementality testing where platform attribution falls short.
  • Run a steady experiment cadence across creative, audiences, offers, landing pages and funnels, and write down what we learn.

Paid social

  • Own paid acquisition on Meta, TikTok and other platforms as they make sense, either hands-on or by managing agencies and freelancers.
  • Build a creative testing system that turns winning concepts into repeatable formats and retires losers quickly.
  • Manage spend against efficiency targets and scale what works.

Organic social, influencers and referrals

  • Set the strategy for organic social as an acquisition channel and a source of creative for paid.
  • Build the influencer and creator program, including sourcing, briefs, whitelisting, affiliate structures and performance tracking.
  • Design and launch a referral program that turns members into a low-cost acquisition channel.

Lifecycle and retention

  • Own Klaviyo email and SMS: welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, onboarding, win-back and replenishment flows, plus campaigns.
  • Build segmentation and retention strategies that raise repeat purchase, subscription retention and LTV.
  • Work with product so the app and lifecycle messaging support each other on activation and engagement.

Cross-functional

  • Work with brand and creative on the briefs and assets your channels need.
  • Work with clinical and regulatory leads so health claims in ads, influencer content and emails stay within what we can support.
  • Coordinate with partnerships channels such as HSA/FSA and employer benefits so the full funnel adds up.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years in growth or performance marketing at a DTC brand, ideally consumer hardware, wellness or health, with a track record of scaling efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience across paid social, influencer and affiliate programs, referrals and Klaviyo, and an understanding of how they affect each other.
  • A systems thinker. You build repeatable processes and models, not one-off campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills. You are fluent in CAC, ROAS, contribution margin, cohort retention and LTV, and comfortable in spreadsheets, analytics tools and attribution platforms.
  • Results you can point to, such as lowering CAC, raising ROAS or improving retention at a growing brand.
  • Good judgment about where to spend the next dollar, and the discipline to cut what isn't working.
  • A real interest in women's health.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling a premium DTC hardware or wearable product, including launches and preorders.
  • Experience with subscription or membership models.
  • Experience marketing in a regulated category such as health, supplements or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam or similar tools.
  • Experience managing agencies and freelancers.

This role is probably not for you if

  • You want to specialize in a single channel.
  • You believe in impossibilities.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity.
  • Ownership of growth from the early days, with room to build and lead a team.
  • Health, dental and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.

Salary

$130,000 - $170,000 per year
