About the Role
Civica Law Group is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that enhance the firm's brand, generate new business opportunities, and support attorney and business development efforts. This role supports digital marketing, content creation, events, and client communications to drive firm growth and visibility.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, detail-oriented, motivated, self-directed, and a team player. We’re seeking a jack of all trades who can handle our marketing needs, as well as manage a webinar and podcast series.
What You'll Do
- Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including monthly newsletters, blogs, and Civica’s LinkedIn account.
- Manage the firm's website through HubSpot, ensuring content remains current, relevant, and SEO optimized.
- Manage the firm’s webinar series including strategy & development, project management, content development, speaker management, technology, marketing assets, audience registration, post webinar follow-up, financials, reporting & analytics.
- Manage the firm’s podcast leading strategy, branding, content, guest management, recording, editing, publishing, marketing & promotion, reporting & analytics including audience engagement.
- Write and distribute articles for publishing by media or other publications.
- Distribute newsletter and other communications to appropriate contact lists.
- Design marketing materials, presentations, and branded products, ensuring our brand stays consistent across all materials.
- Coordinate photo and video shoots for promotional material.
- Participate in conferences to support marketing the firm, take lead on networking at client events, and act as on-site event coordinator.
- Plan, promote, and attend training seminars with attorneys.
- Assist attorneys in expanding client relationships and social media presence.
- Promote attorney awards, speaking engagements, publications, community involvement, and firm achievements.
- Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and growth strategies within key practice areas.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
- 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, Adobe, and Hubspot.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with email marketing, social media management, and website content management systems.
- Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and communicate them effectively.
- Knowledge of social media trends and consumer behavior.
- Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate initiative.
