About the Role

Civica Law Group is looking for a part-time Criminal Prosecuting Attorney with an active California Bar license to join our team.

This role will work on criminal prosecution matters for public-agency clients. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain exposure to a variety of issues involving public safety, code enforcement, and local government.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented legal professional eager to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Do

• Handle criminal prosecution legal matters for public-agency clients
• Conduct legal research and analyze legal and factual issues
• Prepare for and participate in hearings and court proceedings
• Work with attorneys and paralegals on case preparation and strategy
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other stakeholders
• Stay current on relevant laws and legal developments

What We're Looking For

• Active California State Bar license in good standing
• Experience in criminal prosecution, civil litigation, or a related practice area
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment
• Interest in local government, public safety, or code enforcement

 

Compensation: $60/hour – $75/hour
